This book is about a sixth grade class is without his teacher and in this book it is shown how the connivence becomes more heavier. The story starts when the sixth grade teacher Mister Fabiano call in sick, but any one is notices it so the class has no teacher and no substitute teacher so they decide to run the class just but themselves.
The conflict of the story is when Bastian and Rachel start fighting because that day was the death anniversary of one classmate called Tommy, the class needed an authority to stop the fight. The moral of the story is to teach students that although our teachers aren't our best friends, they are our mentors and the ones that keep control of a class. I recommend this book to someone that has trouble with their teachers or that hate going to class, or the ones that have lost a classmate really close to them, I liked this book because it helped me respect more the teachers and the vocabulary was really understandable.
